Shri Prashant Maru, a progressive chilli farmer from Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh has been using Fasal since June, 2018. While sharing his journey of using Fasal for the first time in the growing season he says that his biggest eye opener was the amount of over irrigation he was doing. Chilli being an irrigation sensitive crop has adverse effect on it. Using Fasal he greatly optimised his irrigation. He decreased both the frequency as well as the quantity of water. Additionally he also cut the number of sprays he was taking. As a consequence of these optimised practises Mr. Maru had 24.5 tonnes of produce per acre vis-a-vis 20 tonnes of produce he had in the seasons before using Fasal. In total for his 3 hectares of farm he had an additional 30 tonnes of produce. This same experience was repeated in the next growing season as well for him.

Encouraged by his experience Mr. Maru installed Fasal in his other farms too and continuously recommends Fasal to his other farmer friends. He tells us that Fasal should be given to every horticulture farmer and we are diligently working to ensure the same.

He says, "Har kisan ko dijiye ye".
